how i create custom suede wedding stationery

prepare your suede paper

Most suede paper comes in larger sheets. Cut it down to 8.5 x 11 inches to fit in a standard inkjet printer, or use a printer that supports larger formats.

Design and Print

Design your wedding stationery and print directly onto the suede paper using your inkjet printer. (Tip: Test print on regular paper first to ensure alignment!) Make sure your printer can handle heavier cardstock textures, like up to 130# cover weight.

Create stiffness

Cut an insert of cardstock, chipboard, or cardboard slightly smaller than the suede paper. This will provide structure and make your invites feel substantial.

Wrap and adhere

Wrap the suede paper around the insert, ensuring there’s enough overhang on the edges for a clean fold. Use double-sided tape to secure it, or peel and stick if you’re using adhesive-backed suede paper.
